Building & Zoning Permits

Essentially, any construction, renovation, or change in use of a structure or property requires a building permit, a zoning permit, or both. All necessary forms are located on this site, or on request from the Permitting Department.

The Planning Commission performs the planning for the town to articulate and implement a vision for the future of Bennington.

Development Review Board

This board is responsible for reviewing and issuing land use permits for all significant development in the Town of Bennington.
